Explore Antarctica in Grand Style

In celebration of its 20th anniversary touring Antarctica, Abercrombie & Kent created three extraordinary Antarctic journeys aboard the newly unveiled expedition ship MV Le Boreal. The expansive luxury liner, equipped with stylish, spacious staterooms, many with private terraces, will be limited to 199 passengers. A team of naturalists, geologists, historians, and ornithologists will join each trip to offer expert guidance on the region and its wildlife.  The Classic Antarctic expedition (December 7-20, from $9,995) provides opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife at close range with its exploration of penguin and seabird colonies. For the more adventurous traveler, the Antarctica, South Georgia & the Falkland Islands trip (December 17-January 5 and January 2-20, 2011; from $15,795) follows in the footsteps of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and offers close-up views of the unique King penguin and elephant seals.
